This is a 45 minute from the search engine strategies conference in 2007 (San Jose). It talks about the various web analytics packages, the pros and cons, and what you as a business might choose as a final package.
Google Analytics gets a lot of press, but it is owned by the search giant, and for those who are concerned about privacy issues and “global data domination” - there are other packages that can do the job, and better in certain cases.
I personally am starting the move over to Indextools, which provides real-time data results, dynamic configuration dash boards, and starts at only $50.00/month.
